‘Newsies’ On Broadway in Theaters?

As part of the Fathom Events series at Century Theatres, Newsies, the Broadway show, will be showing tonight in theaters.

So if you haven't seen the live show, here is your chance! "Wrongs will be righted. If we're united. Let us seize the day."

Now where it gets confusing is that Newsies, the Broadway show, is based on Newsies, the movie musical, that came out in the 90s and starred a young Christian Bale.

And, of course, all of it is based on the real newsboys strike of 1899.

Tonight is actually the last showing of three. So get your tickets! I've never been to one of the Fathom Events, so I'm excited to check it out!

For this special event, a few of the original cast members came back! That means Jeremy Jordan as Jack Kelly, people! You may recognize Jeremy Jordan from the TV show, Smash.

In a weird way this is my anniversary with Newsies. I saw the stage version a year ago in Omaha and it blew my mind!
