Neighborhood Sioux Falls Bar Is Closing Down…For Now
It's been a rollercoaster ride for many Sioux Falls local businesses to start the year. Multiple Sioux Falls restaurants have shut down permanently or temporarily closed their doors. Add one more to the list.
For the next three months, a local Sioux Falls restaurant is closing its doors to make some changes.

Session Ale Works is located at the northwest end of Sioux Falls. But pretty soon, the bar and eatery will be totally remodeled and be under a new name.
In a candid Facebook post, the new owners of the Session Ale Works are ready for something new and have big plans for the local restaurant. The process will begin this month.
On January 26th, 2025, we’ll be closing temporarily to begin a remodel and rebrand, with plans to reopen in April.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
-An innovative family-friendly concept that makes the most of our waterfront and patio.
-Expanded menu options and a higher-end wine selection.
-Lottery opportunities.
-A kitchen geared toward even better service.
-A completely reimagined space to bring our community together seven days a week.
Session Ale Works has only been open for business since April of 2024. Sioux Falls residents who live near Session Ale Works hope new owners keep the outdoor patio!
Saturday, January 25th will be the last day of normal operations. Session Ale Works will have a party to celebrate all of the wonderful things about the local hangout spot, its employees, menu, and community.
Everyone in the Sioux Empire is invited to come eat and drink anything and everything on January 25th to toast to Sioux Falls Session Ale Works!
