39-year-old Ryan Grimm from Pukwana, South Dakota, has passed away. His family and friends have confirmed this heartbreaking update.

Ryan Grimm's family and loved ones were sharing posts on social media since he went missing to see if South Dakota communities have seen him. The Brule County Sheriff's Office even shared its own Facebook post about Ryan.

Details surrounding Ryan's passing are limited at this time. But a Facebook post from a family member sends their "deepest gratitude to every single person who shared our (their) post, spread the word, and kept Ryan in their thoughts."

It means the world to Ryan's family and loved ones that people took the time to help find Ryan and to share their kindness during this difficult time.
