Eagle-eyed fans may have noticed something special about Miranda Lambert's guitar during her 2018 ACM Awards performance: It was signed by Loretta Lynn!

"I love you Miranda. Love you honey. Loretta Lynn," reads the inscription on the guitar that Lambert played on Sunday night (April 15) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Lambert's choice of guitar fit her performance well: She sang "Keeper of the Flame," her new single, which reflects on the role Lambert plays keeping the legacy of country music's greatest songs and artists alive.

"It's a lot of pressure, but I know that it's so important that I keep that attitude that I've had, because it's why I'm standing here right now, and it's because of amazing women that have stood here before me," Lambert said backstage at the 2018 ACM Awards (quote via PopCulture.com). "Really, it is, and that's why it was special to perform "Keeper of the Flame" tonight, for sure."

Lambert had a huge night at the 2018 ACM Awards: She took home Female Vocalist of the Year (again) and two trophies for Song of the Year (as both the artist and one of the song's writers), making her the most-awarded artist, period, in ACM Awards history. She now holds 32 ACM trophies.

Before her 2018 win, Lambert was tied for the title of most-awarded performer at the ACM Awards with Brooks & Dunn, who have 29 awards to their name. Even before Sunday evening, though, she held the awards show's record for the solo act with the greatest number of wins. She is also the most-awarded female artist in ACM history.
