Minnesota Woman Makes Major TV Debut on National Game Show
A lucky Minnesota woman had an amazing moment in the national spotlight on a major television game show this earlier week.
Kara Bohmbach from Hastings, Minnesota had the opportunity to compete on the iconic Wheel of Fortune game show. Her episode aired this week. It was a dream experience this Minnesota gal will never forget!
Being a contestant on the Wheel of Fortune was something "super vulnerable" and scary for Kara. But this was truly a dream come true for her!
This game show is special not just for Kara, but also for her family. She grew up watching Wheel of Fortune. Needless to say, Kara took this game very seriously and she wanted to win!
I practiced religiously and studied (yes you can study for wheel) I detoxed and got my mind in a peaceful place …I felt so ready for an experience of lifetime .. and guess what y’all!!? I HAD A BLAST!!! And I’m kinda proud of myself!! (I first auditioned end of June .. 2nd round in July and we filmed Aug 14!! so NOT much prep time! )
Even though she did not make it to the Bonus Round on Wheel of Fortune, Kara says in a Facebook post she had a lot of fun! She also mentioned that the new host of Wheel of Fortune Ryan Seacrest is "humble and funny" and Vanna White is ageless and so kind!
Congratulations, Kara! You made Minnesota proud!
