Every labor day weekend, eastern South Dakota is marked by a steady stream of cars on their way to the Lifelight Farm for one of the nation's largest free Christian events, The Lifelight Christian Music Festival.

The theme this year is Something to Believe In, September 2 to 4, 2016.

Although admission is free, visit the website to get your free pass.  From big crowds at the main stage to intimate settings around a campfire, Lifelight plans something for everyone in the family:

The Festival kicks off Friday with great music and fun activities for everyone throughout the grounds. It will be a night of intimate settings for a variety of people.  We will celebrate different cultures, our youth, and our families.  The reason for the change is simple, “Just Jesus”.  LifeLight desires this year’s Festival to optimize the enjoyment opportunities for Festival attendees allowing them to fully partake in all the Festival has to offer.

Along with a variety of music on our stages, Friday night bon fires will attract youth from all over the region for a combined school pep rally, free prizes, dance party and food.  Campers will enjoy an exclusive bon fire and activity area as well capping off the night with a guest artist.  Main Stage then lights up Saturday with your favorite headlining bands, including Lecrae, Michael W. Smith, RED, Hawk Nelson, and Tedashii.

If you're not familiar with the artists, here are a few of the headliners to check out.
