Lee Ann Womack Nominated for Grammy, ‘Chances Are’ Also Receives Multiple Nominations
Many fans of traditional country music have lamented the fact that country music has, well, changed. With terms like 'Bro-Country' and 'Hick-Hop', it would seem that fiddles and steel guitars have take a back seat in modern country music.
But then a song comes along that harkens back to what made country music great. A song so strong, so good, it can't be ignored. And so it is with Lee Ann Womack's powerful new single 'Chances Are'.
The cut is from her 2015 album release 'The Way I'm Livin' and while Lee Ann's beautiful coal is certainly front and center on this great song, the musicianship is also a delight. The song has multiple Grammy nominations, proving that traditional or 'real' country music may well be making a comeback!
