For anyone that's been a lifetime die hard country music fan, there's a program coming to TV that I feel is a must see. It is a special series that starts this Sunday (9/15).

Ken Burns Country Music Documentary begins Sunday Night on PBS:  The special covers the 1930’s through the 1990’s in great detail.

It’s two hours per night over eight days. “Country Music” explores questions such as “What is country music?” and “Where did it come from?“

All of these questions will be specifically answered while sharing bios of the fascinating characters who created and shaped country music.

The artists will be from early stars like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash,  and Merle Haggard, to newer artists like Garth Brooks and others.

Any documentary ever done by Ken Burns, and there have been a number of them, have been outstanding. He is truly a master and I'm looking forward to watching this.
