According to their latest press release, this move is part of their holiday scheduling plan.
Before 2020, you could always count on Walmart being open just about every day, practically around the clock. But four years ago, they made a big change, choosing to give their employees a well-deserved break with a full day off. This year, they're sticking with that decision.
