UPDATE: 4-23-24  Details of Caitlin Clark's huge deal with Nike are being reported, and the Iowa basketball star has officially hit the big time!

CNN and other sources are reporting that Clark's deal with Nike is reportedly an 8-year deal worth at least $28 million. And yes, Caitiln will soon have her own signature shoe! The deal appears to be larger than the one Nike gave 2020 first-overall pick Sabrina Ionescu. The New York Liberty star has her own signature shoe.

Nike has not revealed a release date, name, or design for Clark's signature shoe.

There has been a lot of talk this week about how much Caitlin Clark will earn during her rookie year with the Indiana Fever. You can add some more zeros to her endorsement total thanks to her friends at Nike.

The Daily Iowan is reporting that Clark has signed a brand-new deal with Nike for a reported eight figures and an agreement with the shoe company to produce a Caitlin Clark signature shoe. The Athletic reports that Nike wasn't the only company wanting to outfit Caitlin Clark is footwear. Industry insiders say that Adidas and Under Armour also made sizable offers to Clark.


The Athletic reports that Clark's old deal with Nike ended after her college playing career concluded. The timing allowed Caitlin to hit the open market at the height of her popularity. Sources say that Steph Curry was involved in trying to land Clark at Under Armour, but to no avail. Sporting News reports that Clark would join Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart as active WNBA players with a current signature shoe.

We should have all known the Nike news was coming. During her appearance last weekend on Saturday Night Live, Clark rocked a black jacket with a huge letter 'N' on the front. The 'N' of course stood for Nike.


So when will we get to see the Caitlin Clark signature shoe? No official word yet from Nike. But if her jersey sales are any indication, you might have to line up outside a sporting goods store just to have a chance a getting a pair!
