Nebraska, South Dakota, and ND Players That Could Be Drafted
Our area is a hotbed for great college football, and several of the draft-eligible players that played the college game in Nebraska, South Dakota, or North Dakota may very well be drafted into the NFL at this weekend's draft.
I'll do my best to outline the draftable prospects from the three states, as the NFL Draft approaches.
The 2023 NFL Draft gets going on Thursday night, April 27th from Kansas City, and will run through Saturday, April 29th.
Here are the prospects that might turn their dreams into reality this weekend:
Nebraska
EDGE Ochaun Mathis - RS Senior
WR Trey Palmer - Senior
EDGE Garrett Nelson - Senior
TE Travis Vokolek - Senior
North Dakota
WR Garett Maag - Senior
North Dakota State
OT Cody Mauch - RS Senior
FB Hunter Luepke - RS Senior
TE Noah Gindorff - RS Senior
G Nash Jensen - RS Senior
South Dakota State
TE Tucker Kraft - RS Junior
Those are the prospects that are most likely to be drafted from North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.
If not taken, undrafted prospects could have an opportunity to catch on with a team in free agency ahead of the season.
