If you talk to anyone who works in law enforcement, they'll tell you there are very few dull moments while they're out on the streets trying to 'protect and serve' our community.

That was especially true this week when the Sioux Falls Police had not one, but two eye-popping incidents to deal with.

The first involved an impaired driver with a blood alcohol content that was staggering to say the least.

Just in case you don't know, the legal limit is .08.

Then, a day later, it was excessive speed, not drinking, that led to the second mind-boggling number, courtesy of the driver of a vehicle in the area of 33rd Street and Sycamore Avenue doing nearly three times the posted speed limit.

Let's hope the punishment for these two morons involves them losing their driving privileges for a long, long time.

The Most Road Rage Inducing Spots in Sioux Falls

More than anything, I'm holding out for Star Trek transporter technology. I'm not necessarily not excited about driverless cars. I for sure would be happy to not have to drive anymore. But, I don't want to do that until EVERYONE ELSE does it too.
