AARP Free Movie Night Is Back at Sioux Falls State Theatre
You don't get a lot of opportunities to enjoy a night of free entertainment these days, but you'll have your chance later this month in downtown Sioux Falls.
February 19 is the next Free Monday Movie at the State Theater on Phillips Avenue. Showtime is 7:00 PM.
The event is sponsored by AARP South Dakota.
This month's feature is the 2003 film Something's Gotta Give.
It stars Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton as professionals who find love for each other in later life, despite being complete opposites. The cast also features Keanu Reeves, Amanda Peet, Frances McDormand, Paul Michael Glaser, Jon Favreau, and KaDee Strickland.
The movie grossed $266 million at the box office and earned Keaton an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. At the Golden Globe Awards, she won for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, while Nicholson was nominated for the Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
The Sioux Falls showing is open to AARP members and non-members alike. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance.
