South Dakota’s Somewhat Controversial Roundabout Prepares to Open
My best friend lives in Harrisburg, South Dakota, so needless to say when they began construction on the big Roundabout project I was less than thrilled. I spent this spring and summer taking Highway 11 as the only clear road between Sioux Falls and Harrisburg.
But now, news has come out that the Harrisburg Roundabout is preparing to open sometime this week. The exact day and time remain unknown, but the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office in Canton reports in a Facebook post that it will be this week.
They also released plenty of information on how people should use the roundabout, including an explanatory video.
