March Madness brackets will soon be circulating throughout workplaces all over the country.

But before we think about filling out our basketball brackets, we must concentrate on "Park Madness" here in Sioux Falls.

What is "Park Madness," you ask?

It's an opportunity for the residents of the Sioux Empire to vote for their favorite Sioux Falls city park.

Which park will ultimately have bragging rights in the city? The Statue of David and Fawick Park, Falls Park, Tuthill Park, how about Covell Lake and Terrace Park. Cast your vote and find out.

A total of 64 Sioux Falls parks will all be vying to become the city's favorite park, as Sioux Falls tips off its inaugural Park Madness tournament this March.

Pigeon 605 reports, that the Sioux Falls Park & Recreation Department has created a bracket format that features every Sioux Falls City Park. The parks are broken down by districts.

Voting will take place over the coming weeks to help narrow the field until the ultimate city park is finally crowned champion.

Park Madness participants are encouraged to help champion their favorite park, discover all the hidden gems that can be found inside each park, and help settle all the long-standing rivalries between the various parks.

According to Pigeon 605, round one of the voting is now underway. Round two which will feature the Top 32 Sioux Falls parks begins on March 7-10th. Voting for the Sweet 16 city parks fires up March, 11-14th. The Elite 8 parks square off March 15-18th. The Final 4 Sioux Falls city parks will be determined March,19-22nd, and the Championship Round of Park Madness will be held March 23-26th.
