Get Ready For The Great Pumpkin Roll At Tuthill Park
Halloween is past and jack-o-lanterns aren't great for Thanksgiving decorations. What to do with them? That's an easy question. On Saturday, November 8, Sioux Falls will host its Third Annual Great Pumpkin Roll at scenic Tuthill Park.
This family-friendly celebration invites everyone to bring their leftover Halloween pumpkins and roll them down the park’s picturesque hill for fun and prizes.

Just bring your leftover Halloween pumpkins up the sledding hill at the park’s upper shelter, and get ready to roll them down in friendly competition. This crazy and fun event has everyone gathering at 1 PM. Then, the festivities kick off with a farthest-distance pumpkin roll contest starting at 2 p.m., followed by a shortest-distance roll competition at 3 p.m. Awards will be given to the top three pumpkins in each category.
After the rolling games, guests can warm up with pumpkin-flavored snacks and apple cider, while kids enjoy pumpkin-themed crafts and games. Don't forget to bring a blanket because the event will wrap up with a cozy reading of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” creating a memorable moment for families to share.
