GoFundMe Page Created to Help Family of Sioux Falls Shooting Victim
Residents of the Sioux Empire were shocked to hear the news of a triple homicide in southwest Sioux Falls last week.
Three people were tragically shot and killed during a house party in the middle of the night at a residence located on South Drexel Drive and West 58th Street in Sioux Falls. Two other victims also sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.
The tragedy that occurred during the early morning hours of Saturday, (June 8) is being labeled the deadliest Sioux Falls homicide since 1973.
Dakota News Now is reporting that a GoFundMe page has been established for the family of one of the victims, Kellie Reaves, a 43-year-old Sioux Falls woman.
Reaves had two children, a daughter named Brooke who is 17, and a son named Jaxon who is almost 12. Both children are now living with their fathers and they face a very long road ahead of them without their loving mother.
As you can imagine, the primary concern right now in the wake of this horrific tragedy is to attempt to raise money to help alleviate financial burdens and support her two wonderful children.
A goal of raising $10,000 has been set, and those choosing to help can get more information and donate to the fundraiser here.
