Some Grinch In Minnesota Dumped A Box Of Puppies On The Side Of Road
A Minnesota animal shelter is calling it a Christmas miracle that these puppies are ok after someone found them in a box on the side of the road.
Animal Allies in Duluth shared the heartbreaking photo of a box of puppies inside a tote that had holes cut out of the top. The tote was duct-taped shut an left on the side of the road.
They say it was a miracle that a good samaritan stopped on the side of the road to check the box. It's also a miracle all the puppies were seemingly unharmed. The dogs are now being treated at the shelter and will be up for adoption after they receive their veterinarian care and microchipping.

Difficult Year For Animal Shelters
It's truly been a difficult year for animal shelters. Animal Allies says the hardship of rising costs have made 2024 extra hard. Feeding, caring for, and treating these puppies costs more now than ever. They ask if you would like to donate to Venmo Animal Allies @ AnimalAlliesDLH.

Sadly, this isn't the first time a dog was found abandoned on the side of the road. Lovebug was found and brought to Animal Allies. Unfortunately, Lovebug didn't make it. A memorial was set up with a 24 hour fundraiser back in November.
Animal Allies stresses that if you need to surrender a pet, please contact them and follow the proper procedures. It's heartbreaking to see these animals suffer to no fault of their own.
