AZFamily, reports that "several battery makers agreed to the $45 million settlement to end a lawsuit that claimed they conspired to fix the price of those lithium ion batteries for more than ten years."
If you purchase devices such as laptops, notebook computers, cell phones, tablets, camcorders and cordless power tools between the years 2000-2011, you can make a claim for a share of that money and you don't need a receipt.
How much money you get is determined on how much of those electronics you bought. The deadline to make your claim is November 29, 2017. You can file your claim here.
