Legendary Sports Duo: Howard Cosell And Muhammad Ali (Watch)
One was 'The Greatest'.
The other was 'The Loudest'.
Remember when the 'Louisville Lip' would get together with the lawyer turned sports broadcaster?
In many ways, it's hard to think of one without thinking of the other.
Ali, of course, was a personality all by himself. Popular, controversial, loved, hated. He was all that and more.
But then, so was Cosell, from telling the world of the death of John Lennon on Monday Night Football, to seemingly endless espousing on his short lived late night talk show to having fans (or non-fans) throwing bricks through the TV screen whenever he came on.
Yes, they were both bigger than life. And when they got together?
Well, it made for entertaining TV.
