You've probably heard about the timeless children's show, "The Magic School Bus." Well, now there is a "magic" Sioux Falls bus dedicated to the arts and encourages creativity.

The 605 Magic Art Bus is a new ride around the Sioux Empire that’s bringing arts and crafts to you! This new art experience is not just for kids. Adults can hop on to create art too!

Our friends at Pigeon605 caught up with the proud founders and co-managers of the 605 Magic Art Bus, Marlo Arp and Mercedes Maltese. The concept for this fun art bus began in 2021. The 605 Magic Art Bus provides a variety of art classes for art enthusiasts thanks to the traveling classroom and studio on the bus. Pigeon605 explains, "The bus will offer classes for all ages at occasions such as birthday parties and corporate events, with 'dynamic and ever-changing custom programs' in all different mediums, from painting to sculpture." This bus really does seem like a magical art adventure!

There will also be hidden art surprises on the bus like glow in the dark tables. Somewhere down the road, Marlo Arp and Mercedes Maltese tell Pigeon605 they would like to have other forms of entertainment join the bus like magicians, comedians, and balloon artists. Sounds like the perfect ride to get your creative juices flowing.

Marlo Arp and Mercedes Maltese anticipate the 605 Magic Art Bus will be open and available for bookings sometime in mid-August. The website for the specialty arts and crafts bus will also be live during the second week of August.

Don't forget! You can get the latest Sioux Falls news when you "adopt a pigeon" with Pigeon 605.

It's the arts on wheels coming to a bus stop near you very soon!

See Some of Sioux Falls' Beautiful Murals [PHOTOS]

I was in Canton, SD, and I happened upon a new mural.

It was really cool and that got me thinking that I know of a few murals in Sioux Falls, but I bet there's more than I realize. So, I put it out on social media for the people of Sioux Falls to tell me where all the murals are!

A few of them I had never seen, or never even been to that part of town, and a few of them, I drive by all the time and never noticed!

I know a few businesses have murals inside their establishments, but I decided to keep it to murals that are totally open for the public to see. No need to be 21!

So, here we go! Let's check out some of Sioux Falls' murals.
Did I miss one? Let me know!
