Hometown Tuesday: Monks House of Ale Repute
Are you looking for a great place to share a drink or two with some friends? Look no further than Monks House of Ale Repute!
Located in Downtown Sioux Falls off of 8th Street, Monks is the "one of a kind" experience to have when you're in town. According to their website, Monks "was Sioux Falls’ first craft beer bar and remains the must-visit destination for beer lovers everywhere. Featuring a constantly rotating selection of 39 tap beers and over a hundred different bottles and cans of the world’s rarest and finest craft beers, you’re sure to discover your next favorite beer. Within Monks’, Gandy Dancer Brew Works creates small batches of unique local brews which are featured in eight taps."
Not only is there a great selection of brews, but there's also great food to pair with your drink! Monks offers weekly specials, like Happy Hour on Monday through Saturday until 6:00 P.M. with $9 pizzas and $1 off wine and tap beer! Even better? These Happy Hour specials are available all day on Sunday!
One of my favorite parts about Monks is they're pet friendly! I always bring my dog, Honey to visit the brewery to meet new faces in the Sioux Empire! Don't worry...she didn't drink that brew in front of her (haha). She's only a puppy!
