Tuthill Park at 3500 South Cliff Avenue is one of the many beautiful parks in Sioux Falls. It really has a lot going on for it.

In the wintertime, it is home to one of the best sledding hills in the area. There is a great 18 hole Disc golf course that winds through the woods and along the Big Sioux River.

Tuthill Park is also home to two playground areas, picnic shelters, and an absolutely stunning flower garden.

Arthur Tuthill and his wife Dot owned the land and house from 1915 until 1953. They used the house as a summer home up until 1953 when they donated it and some 40 acres of land to the City of Sioux Falls to use as a park.

Arthur Tuthill was a successful businessman who along with his brothers ran a lumber company in Sioux Falls. Mrs. Tuthill kept the formal flower gardens located next to the Historic House and beautiful flower gardens.

As you can imagine the Tuthill Formal Gardens and gazebo is a very popular place to hold wedding ceremonies. There are approximately 23 benches located throughout the garden area for wedding guests or just park visitors to sit and soak in the wonderful views and smells.
