This week in Sioux Falls, the Symetra Tour has ascended on the city for another year of professional golf at Willow Run.

The Great Life Challenge is going to be another stepping stone for many golfers as they pursue their dreams of being on the LPGA tour.

As they compete this week, they are reminded, as we all are, that there is a large faction of the Houston and surrounding areas that are going through a very traumatic time.

Hurricane Harvey is causing mass destruction and the residents of the area are in need of help and locally the Symetra Tour and the Great Life Cares Foundation is doing their part to help as much as they can.

Shannon Fish, a Houston native and player on the Symetra Tour committed her donation to the relief efforts and the Great Life Cares Foundation is going to match donations up to $50,000 between August 31 and September 4 when the Great Life Challenge tournament concludes.

To get involved, pick up a pledge card at the Great Life Challenge at Willow Run Golf Course or by downloading here.  You can choose a golfer to back and either pledge per day, per birdie or per eagle.

Then turn in your pledge card at the tournament, any Great Life location, Great Western Bank, Luxury Auto Mall of Sioux Falls.

Once the tournament concludes, your entire donation will be given to the Houston Relief Fund.
