If you're obsessed with Back to the Future like me, um, I mean if you're a Back to the Future aficionado like me (that sounds better) you have been longing for a taste of Pepsi Perfect.

OK, for those among us that seem to have better things to do than watch Back to the Future II several times a year, Pepsi Perfect is the drink that Marty McFly ordered at Cafe 80's in Hill Valley, CA on October, 21, 2015. Marty had just traveled 30 years into the future to save his son from some crime thing, even I'm not really sure what's going on there.

Anyways, it's all cool future stuff like flying cars, blood replacement, hover-boards and antique Dustbusters. At the aforementioned Cafe 80's, after a robot server tried to sell Marty grilled sushi he orders a Pepsi Perfect. A future Pepsi then appears from a hole in the counter! It's Pepsi, from the FUTURE, in a Future bottle.

And now, in the real October of 2015, IRL Pepsi is looking to cash in on geeks like me, I mean, celebrate the 30th anniversary of BTTF by creating a real bottle of soda that looks like the movie prop.

Unfortunately this isn't like the recent Surge renaissance. There will only be a limited run of 6,200 of the future bottles. In the bottles will be the Pepsi made with real sugar, because in the future humans drink pop from the past, I guess? I look forward to seeing how much one of those bottles will go for on eBay next year.

Soda from the FUTURE is all well and good, but when do I get my Mr. Fusion so my car can run on garbage and my bathroom fax machine. We were promised wall mounted fax machines! I demand results Zemeckis.
