A South Dakota cow escaped and was seen roaming the streets in one of the state's biggest towns. This cow really took advantage to seize the "moo-ment!"

In a now-viral video on all social media platforms, Cottonwood Coffee in Brookings, South Dakota captured the major street chase of neighbors on the "moo-ve" to catch a cow on the loose. Just to warn you...expect more cow puns in this story.

The staff at Cottonwood Coffee tells our news partners at Dakota News Now that it was a slower day at the coffee shop. But little did they know a runaway cow would create "udder" chaos for the City of Brookings.

Manager Blake Fabre of Cottonwood Coffee alerted his staff that there was a cow who escaped near an elementary school. It didn't take long for this cow to run over to the local coffee shop. This cow was on a mission to keep her freedom.

Cottonwood Coffee staff started recording videos of the cow they lovingly named Bessie. It has caused a social media frenzy! On the coffee shop's Facebook post alone, the video has been seen over 800,000 times. Not to mention the 3 million views on the shop's TikTok page.

This cow is "udderly" amazing and South Dakota is soaking in every moment of Bessie's epic chase.

She definitely was feeling a little fresh and wanted to play!

Nothing will ever bring a community more together than escaped animals.
