The Sioux Empire Community Theatre has something to add to your list of holiday shows.

Everyone knows the story of A Christmas Carol. Ebeneazor Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future, and who could forget Tiny Tim? But have you seen it this way?

According to SECT's website:

In 1970, renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale, A Christmas Carol, into the hit screen musical "Scrooge!"

Scrooge opens December 8 and runs through the  December16. Shows for the opening weekend are as usual with 7:00 PM shows Friday and Saturday and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 PM.

Then, things get funky. There are shows every day after that at 7:00 PM. So there are plenty of chances to see Scrooge.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online or in person at The Historic Orpheum Theatre Box Office.
