Get Free Thanksgiving Meal From Feeding South Dakota This Month

If you or someone you know in South Dakota needs extra help this Thanksgiving, a statewide food bank is giving families meals to make the holidays easier

Feeding South Dakota is once again doing its annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway for families in western South Dakota and the Sioux Empire. You can get your Thanksgiving meal this month!

The Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway from Feeding South Dakota will be a drive-through style event that is open for two hours on Saturday, November 23rd. Sioux Falls area families will have the Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds and the Rapid City giveaway will be at the Central State Fairgrounds.

This giveaway wouldn't be possible wouldn't the support and generosity of the Greg and Pam Sands Foundation.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Greg and Pam Sands Foundation for doubling the impact of financial gifts made to Feeding South Dakota from November 4-28. Their generous gift is a large part of making this event possible!

Think about it this way: A $25 donation provides 75 meals to families. You can make your donation to help local families here.

Feeding South Dakota will provide one Thanksgiving meal per family with a maximum of two families per vehicle, who would otherwise not have a special meal during the holiday. No pre-registration or sign-up is needed, but there is a limit of two families served per vehicle.

The annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds begins at 8 AM on Saturday, November 23rd.
