George Jones had his final concert ever slated for November 22nd. It was to be a star laden night of country music with everybody who is anybody in country music (and beyond) slated to be there. It was to be the biggest night in the history of country music, celebrating the life and career of country music's biggest star.

Then, George Jones passed away April 26th. But according to the Associated Press, the show will go on!

(AP) - It was supposed to be his last concert - and George Jones had it set up so that a lot of stars were going to join him November 22 in Nashville for his final performance.

Jones died last month - but the show will go on.

His widow Nancy says several of the acts who were to perform have confirmed they will still attend - and several who weren't in the original lineup have signed on. Among the originals who will be on hand include Garth Brooks and Kid Rock.

The show is set for the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
