Basketball has provided quite the journey for former South Dakota State standout Nate Wolters.

The Jackrabbits all-time leading scorer, and one-time draft pick of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, just finished up a season with KK Crvena zvezda in Belgrade, Serbia. He signed with the team last October, missing the first three games of the season. He ended up playing in 27 games, starting one, averaging seven points, two assists, two rebounds per game.

Overall, KK Crvena zvezda finished 16-14 in the EuroLeague, the team's first winning season in three years.

Before the season ended, Wolters was featured on a local TV show in Belgrade (see the video above).

Wolters came to Serbia after being waived by the Denver Nuggets during the NBA pre-season.

Last season he played for Besiktas Istanbul in Turkey.

Prior to that, Wolters played two NBA seasons with the Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans. After playing in 58 games his rookie season (starting 31), injuries limited him to just 21 games in the 2014-15 season.
