However, after serving the Sioux Empire community for 72 years, the owner of Andy's Affiliated Foods is closing its store to enjoy retirement.

The local grocery store and meat market is located on Cleveland Avenue in Sioux Falls. According to its website, Andy's Affiliated Foods was founded by Andrew Jelsma and opened its doors in Sioux Falls in 1950.

Eventually, Andrew passed the store onto his son Robert. Needless to say, the father-son duo was the ultimate dream team. Robert has carried on the store's tradition ever since.

News of Andy's Affiliated Foods closing started to circulate around the Sioux Falls area once customers noticed the sign outside the storefront. After sharing the pictures of the billboard sign on social media, loyal customers of Andy's Affiliated Foods expressed their sadness about the impending closure.

On the other hand, they are thrilled that Robert is going to start a new chapter and now embrace a well-deserved retirement. The closing date for Andy's Affiliated Foods is still being determined.
