Dustin Lynch Co-Wrote a Song on Backstreet Boys’ New ‘DNA’ Album [LISTEN]
Dustin Lynch is helping bring a little country charm to the Backstreet Boys' newly released album, DNA. The country star is behind "Just Like You Like It," one of the record's new songs.
In "Just Like You Like It," the boy band sings about a common theme in country music: wanting to make things just right for that special someone. "Girl, it's all for you, everything I do / You just set the groove / I'll pour it on, strong and smooth," sing the Backstreet Boys. "We've got all night long / So, tell me what you want / I'm gonna love you just like you like it."
Lynch co-wrote "Just Like You Like It" with Ross Copperman and Josh Kear; press play above to hear the full song. Copperman co-write two songs for and produced Lynch's most recent album, Current Mood.
The Backstreet Boys have dabbled in country music a bit over the course of the last couple of years: The group netted their first No. 1 country single in 2017 with the Florida Georgia Line collaboration "God, Your Mama and Me," and accompanied the country duo out on the road for the Smooth Tour that summer. The two groups also paired up for CMT's Crossroads in 2017; during their episode, the men performed mashups of popular songs from both groups.
"Just Like You Like It" and the rest of DNA is available for purchase now. The record recently debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart; it put the Backstreet Boys at the top of that chart for the first time since 2000.
