Devasted South Dakota Family Needs Donations To Find Teen

17-year-old Addison Van Ballegooyen of Union County has been missing for over a week. Her family and loved ones are heartbroken and pleading with the South Dakota communities to search for their "sweet Addison."

Unfortunately, local authorities don't have new information about Addison's whereabouts. So now her family is asking South Dakota residents to support their mission to find Addison.

Addison Van Ballegooyen has been missing since Monday, January 13th, 2025. She has "sandy" hair and blue eyes. Addison's height is 5'3''. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black leggings, and white Nike shoes. Since the last report, Addison's status has been upgraded as an "Endangered Missing Person." The South Dakota Missing Persons website has the latest information we know about Addison's disappearance.

Despite the slow developments in this case, Addison's family has not given up on their search efforts. Throughout various social media posts, Addison's family has shared their worries and grief throughout local South Dakota communities. However, the family has decided "to go into further extremes" to find Addison.

Addison's family is asking for any monetary donations to support their ongoing search.

Unfortunately, a week later, this is where we are at. We could use help with legal fees, a reward, and a private investigator to bring Addison home.

At this point of the search, Addison could be anywhere in the Sioux Empire and maybe even parts of Nebraska. She was last seen in Hawarden, Iowa.
