Planning on taking a trip out west to see the Crazy Horse Memorial? You might want to bring some extra cash because the entrance fee is going up.

According to Rapid City Journal the park is raising prices.

The new prices are $12 per person, $30 per carload with three or more people, and $7 per person for motorcycles, bicycles and walkers. Children ages 6 and under get in free.

The new price took into effect on October 14, 2017.

 

Admission is still free for Native Americans, active military members and boys a girl scouts the article states. Over one million visitors visit the monument every year and is the world’s largest mountain carving in progress.
