Country Star To Play South Dakota Town, Population 136
When the biggest stars of country music meander up to our part of the country they usually play shows at places like Minneapolis, Omaha, Des Moines, and of course the Denny Sanford Premier Center right here in the greatest city in the world, Sioux Falls.
So it's interesting that one of country music's biggest stars will be playing in a South Dakota town of 136 friendly folks...and in a saloon to boot!
And it's true. Trace Adkins will be performing at the Full Throttle Saloon in Vale, South Dakota.
Wait....where's Vale?
Well, go west young man. Vale is in Butte County. Belle Fourche is the County Seat. You know Bell Fourche, out near the Black Hills, kind of in the Sturgis area.
Wait! Sturgis area?? So...just when is this show?
It's August 6, 2018. Early August. That reminds me...Aha!
It's Sturgis Rally time. The 2018 Rally officially kicks of August 3rd and officially wraps up August 12th (I say 'officially' because if you're familiar with the Rally you know it starts earlier and ends later...its a great party!).
So while little Vale South Dakota has 136 friendly folks living there, I have a feeling there'll be a whole bunch more when the 'Badonkadonk' troubadour hits town!
If the Sturgis Rally is on your calendar this year, swing on in to Vale on the 6th of August and party with Trace!
