With a dtyle that derives from blues, rock and country, it was in 1967, following a stint in prison, that David headed to Nashville. One of country music's most accomplished songwriters, David penned the Tanya Tucker smash Would You Lay With Me (In A Field Of Stone and the song that became an anthem for the working man (and woman) Take This Job And Shove It, which Johnny Paycheck took to the top of the charts.

David had hits of his own of course, including You Never Even Called Me By My Name, The Ride & She Used To Love Me A Lot. But on a personal level, I've always loved a hit David had called Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile.

Tickets for the David Allan Coe concert are on sale now and you can get yours here.

Grab your friends and head to Anthem at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for a night of some Outlaw Country Music. After what we've all been through, you deserve it!
