It’s been quite the year for Chris Tungseth from small town Fergus Falls, Minnesota. He was a construction worker with a dream of being on the big stage. And thanks to the Sioux Empire and the nation, Chris Tungseth lived his dream on “American Idol.” 

In a bittersweet moment, Chris Tungseth’s journey on American Idol ended a week ago after missing a spot in the Top 3. But don’t worry fans! This Minnesota superstar still has “more love to give.”

Chris Tungseth shared an emotional message on Facebook for all his supporters during his American Idol run. Especially to his Minnesota family!

Chris explains this experience “has been the craziest rollercoaster ride,” but he wouldn’t have it any other way. He wouldn’t have been able to soar so high on American Idol if it wasn’t for you, his fans and cheerleaders!

I’m so incredibly grateful for every second.

YOU GUYS HAVE HAD MY BACK SINCE THE START. Your prayers have been felt, your support has been heard. I feel every bit of it. It’s hard for my little brain to comprehend how unbelievable this experience has been. you guys are seriously the best. I love you more than words can express & I’ll never forget the work God’s done. The ways you guys have poured into me. This has His hand written all over it.
