Did Minnesota Singer Chris Tungseth Move Onto Next ‘Idol’ Round?
A Minnesota singer is letting his hair down and giving America something to cheer for on this season of American Idol.
Chris Tungseth of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, gave a powerful Top 20 performance on American Idol. It's full of "pure vibes" with "no apologies" attached.

The latest American Idol performance from the Minnesota native marks the first time Chris Tungseth is looking for America's votes to move on to the Top 12.
Before Chris took the stage, he got some words of wisdom from country singer-songwriter and epic guitar player Brad Paisley and actress and singer Keke Palmer.
While wearing a South Dakota Sturgis Rally shirt, Chris Tungseth gave Brad Paisley and Keke Palmer a taste of his rendition of "Apologize" from Timberland featuring OneRepublic. At first, Brad Paisley applauded Chris' vulnerability. Chris was excited to make this performance a little more "fun" and a song "people know, and people wanna sing to."
Keke Palmer was all for Chris letting loose and maybe even showing off a little...let's say sexy side to him.
"He wants to make it fun. Well in my mind, I want to see you lean into your image...I'm telling you, work it with everything you got"
Brad does admit he's a little jealous of Chris' hair.
How Did America Feel About Chris' Top 20 Performance?
It was a showstopper. With his family and friends in the crowd, Chris gave it all he had and more.

He is definitely one of my favorites. Reminds me a lot of my husband when he was younger.
Is Chris Moving on to The Top 12 of American Idol?
We'll have to wait and see next week on American Idol if Chris got enough votes to make it to the next round. By the way, voting is officially closed for the week.
You're making the Sioux Empire proud, Chris!
