Century Theaters in Sioux Falls Banning Certain Costumes and Props for the New ‘Star Wars’ Movie
The good news, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the most anticipated movie in... well, forever, premieres this Thursday night in the Sioux Empire. The bad news, you won't be able to bring along your lightsaber.
The Century Theaters are laying down the ground rules for what is and is not acceptable attire and props for the upcoming Star Wars movie.
According to the Century, fans can not wear face masks or face paint. The theater is also banning all toy lightsabers, blasters and other 'simulated weapons.' The ban being set forth by the Century Theaters is similar to ones in place at other theater chains across the country.
Theaters are being forced to take additional security measures given the state of the world we live in and the possible threat of ISIS terrorist attacks during the holiday season.
This news should make all Jedi Masters happy however, according to both Sioux Falls Century Theaters plenty of tickets are still available.
The Century Stadium 14 will feature showings starting every 60 to 90 minutes from 7:00 P.M. Thursday to Friday night.
