Bummer…’Heartbroken’ Sioux Falls Cookie Shop Closing

A locally-owned Sioux Falls cookie store is feeling bittersweet these days.

Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD made the difficult announcement the store will be closing its doors at the end of April.

Cookie Co. is a national chain cookie establishment. The sweet shop just called Sioux Falls home in February of 2023.  Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD is located at 6004 South Cliff Avenue at the new Stadium Crossing development.

In an emotional Facebook post, the local owners of Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD tell its loyal cookie lovers the store will close "permanently" on Saturday, April 27th. Why is the Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD suddenly closing? The shop owners explain the closing is "due to circumstances out of our control."

While this is the very last decision we wanted to make, we are closing this chapter with our heads held high - we worked so hard, we served people well, we made the BEST cookies, and we built relationships we will cherish forever.

It's always sad to see a Sioux Empire business close, especially when stores are still new to the area.

The Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD owners are incredibly grateful for the community's support! They have witnessed a lot of kindness in the Sioux Falls area since they broke the sad news. Over the weekend, the Cookie Co. Sioux Falls, SD even ran out of popular cookie flavors!
