Brad Paisley Honored with a Goat

Nobody loves good country music more than I do. That explains why I host country music shows for a living.

In my business you get introduced to the sound of a new artist about every time you turn around. And sometimes you just know that this one's going to be around for a while. I knew that the first time I heard Brad Paisley in the late 1990's.

I feel Brad's been one of the best artists of the last 20 years. I see I'm not the only one who feels that way, as another country music star expressed his feelings. But he did it in an unusual way.

Things got a bit wild during Brad Paisley’s Weekend Warrior Tour date in Nashville on Friday night (April 6). Like, really wild, in an animal sense!

Opener Dustin Lynch had decided he wanted to give Paisley a nice gift as a thank you for having him on tour. But instead of something boring and obvious, like, say, a nice bottle of wine, Lynch decided on.a baby goat.

"In my opinion, Brad Paisley is one of the greatest of all time," Lynch explained to the crowd. And to the dumbfounded looking Paisley, who petted the animal's head in confusion. "He is one of the G.O.A.T.s of Country music. So Brad, I got you a goat!"
