Bill Medley Memoir Reveals New Details On The Relationship Of The Righteous Brothers

(AP) - It sounds like the Righteous Brothers were hardly close as brothers.

Da Capo Press has released an excerpt from Medley's upcoming memoir, "The Time of My Life." Medley writes he was angry at Bobby Hatfield because "he didn't allow us to have the warm friendship we should and could have had."

Medley says he wants to look back on the Righteous Brothers as "this great wonderful thing and this great, wonderful relationship with Bobby." He says Hatfield "just wouldn't allow that to happen."

That's not the only uncomfortable issue Medley tackles. He'll also discuss the murder of his wife, Karen. "Time of My Life" will come out in April.
