Augustana University Presents Jesse McCartney at The District

Jesse McCartney was first thrust into the spotlight with the group Dreamstreet before setting out on a solo career. That solo career included music, of course. Hits like "Beautiful Should," "She's No You," and "Leavin."

However, he also has acting chops. He was on the teen drama Summerland and in movies like Alvin and the Chipmunks as the voice of Theodore.

And now that Jesse is all grown up, he is bringing his musical stylings to Sioux Falls on May 7, 2017. The show is presented by Augustana University and Pepper Entertainment. The show is at The District located at 4521 W. Empire Pl. near the Empire Mall.

Ticket prices vary due to student rates and meet and greet packages. The breakdown for tickets is as follows:

General Admission, Augustana Student: $20 (must provide ID number) plus applicable taxes and fees

General Admission, Public: $30 plus applicable taxes and fees

Pre-show Meet and Greet STUDENTS: $60 (must provide ID number) plus applicable taxes and fees *meet and greet comes with 1 GA ticket*

Pre-show Meet and Greet PUBLIC: $70 plus applicable taxes and fees *meet and greet comes with 1 GA ticket*

I saw Jesse McCartney back when his hit song "Beautiful Soul" was blowing up. He didn't have an opener and it was just him. He put on a great show, but it was kind of short. However, he's got a few more hits under his belt now so I'm sure the show is much longer. I sat second row at The Orpheum in Sioux City and my friend April and I actually camped outside overnight for tickets. We met a lot of fun people. But now that I'm older, I'll just stick to online ticket sales.
