Our four-legged friends are huge companions in our lives. They are truly part of the family, so it's always difficult to believe that some animals do not have a permanent home. Individuals abandon them for various reasons, but that does not mean our dogs, cats, or other pets don't deserve a second chance.

A shocking announcement came from the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society, saying that the facility has many cats under their care. The Sioux Falls Area Humane Society confirmed this news in a Facebook post.

This is the breakdown of the current number of cats at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society:

71 cats are ready for adoption
50 are waiting for a foster home
The rest are under stray hold, in foster care, or receiving medical treatment before they can be adopted.

What can you do to help the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society?
