We are so fortunate to have fantastic zoos throughout South Dakota, especially with the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls right in our backyard. At the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, you can explore animals from seven continents and, of course, the seas in between.

From the iconic bighorn sheep mountain to the new, world-class African lion exhibit, the Great Plains Zoo has more than 20 acres of habitats to explore. Let's not forget about the horseshoe crabs, corals, stingrays, and jellyfish at the Butterfly House & Aquarium!
