When it comes to burgers, there definitely is one for everyone, especially in Sioux Falls! Sponsored by First Western Bank & Trust, the 10th annual Downtown Sioux Falls Burger Battle features burgers residents can sink their teeth into. It's hard to decide which of the 32 burgers to try first. But someone has to do it! TommyJack's Pub kicked-off my Burger Battle adventures this year. The local bar's burger is called "The Philly Burger." If you like Philly cheesesteaks, you'll probably love this burger.

According to a previous article written by co-worker Jeff Harkness, the Philly Burger is a "fresh hand-pattied half-pound burger, top it with a custom seasoning, sauteed peppers and onions, and two types of cheese. The Philly Burger is accompanied by a side of au jus for dipping and served on our locally made fresh bakery bun." All I can say is...wow this burger was so tasty! The au jus sauce for the burger just enhanced its flavor in the best way possible! It was cheesy, beefy, and the peppers were the cherry on top of this meal.

You pick your choice of side when you order the Philly Burger at TommyJack's Pub. I went with the tater tots, and it was the perfect pair! Overall, I highly recommend you make room to try this burger sometime during the competition.
