Zane Williams Is ‘Keeping It Country’ and Tells Us the Story of Jayton and Jill
At Classic Country KXRB and KXRB.com, we play new country songs if they are, indeed, country songs. While it may seem much of the 'new stuff' has veered off into 80's rock, 'bro-country' or something called 'hick hop', there are indeed real country arists putting out great country songs.
And that brings me to an artist by the name of Zane Williams.
This Texas singer/songwriter comes out of the state of Texas and has released a new album called Texas Like That. We're playing the new single from the album, 'Jayton And Jill'. Why?
Well, I think a good country song, one that lasts, essentially does two thing: 1) It tells a great story, and 2) By the time it's done it moves you. Maybe to laughter. Maybe to tears. Maybe to just thinking.
