Family Remodels Their Home to Look Like the ‘Up’ House, Cranky Neighbors Get Pissed

Two new parents in Santa Clara, California have a young daughter who loves the Pixar movie 'Up,' so they did what any awesome parent would do: they gave their Victorian home a fresh coat of paint to look like Carl and Ellie's house from the movie. It's adorable! But, the Charles Muntz's of the neighborhood aren't so happy and have complained to the Old Quad Residents Association about the new look. You might say they got all UP in arms about it....

‘Toy Story of Terror’ Trailer: First Look at Footage From Pixar’s First TV Special

The 'Toy Story' gang may have had a memorable cinematic farewell with the wonderful 'Toy Story 3,' but we're not done with Bonnie's (formerly Andy's) toys quite yet! The Woody, Buzz and the rest of the group are going to make their television debut with 'Toy Story of Terror,' a made-for-TV Halloween special that will attempt to bring some of that Pixar magic to the small screen. The first two promos for the special have arrived and ... it looks like more 'Toy Story.' That's a good thing, right?

Pixar’s ‘The Good Dinosaur’ Loses Bob Peterson as Director

Filmmaking is always a chaotic process where things can go wrong (or right) at the drop of a hat, and this applies doubly to the world of animation. Since animated films take years to make, they're constantly evolving and being rewritten and often key members of the cast and crew are replaced as the project trudges on. We don't know the details yet, but it looks like the process has claimed another victim: director Bob Peterson has been reportedly pulled off of Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur.'

‘Monsters University’ Review

College is not an obvious setting for a Pixar movie. For all the vaunted animation studio's reputation for producing mature, adult children's films, college lends itself to a more immature brand of adult humor -- the kind with lots of nudity, profanity, and outrageous drunken antics. Sure enough, Pixar's 'Monsters University' brings new meaning to the phrase "safe school" -- this G-rated riff on 'Revenge of the Nerds' and 'Animal House' (they probably thought about calling it 'Monster House' at some point, right? They had to) doesn't push any envelopes in terms of content or humor. It's basically a formula college comedy, minus the raunch, in the world of 'Monsters Inc.' Nevertheless, it's a formula executed by some very talented animators, who've produced a lively, if mostly forgettable, movie.

‘Toy Story of Terror’ First Look: Check Our Pixar’s First Halloween Special!

Although there are no plans for a 'Toy Story 4' (yet), Pixar hasn't been shy about utilizing their most iconic characters for short films (see: the 'Toy Story' Toons and the 'Cars' Toons).
