No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Dakota Wesleyan Student

MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — Investigators say a 19-year-old student found dead in a dormitory at Dakota Wesleyan University was exhibiting flu-like symptoms, and they don't suspect any foul play.

Mitchell Police Detective Lt. Don Everson says an autopsy indicates Beau Keeter died a natural death, though the investigation is ongoing.

Keeter was a freshman athletic training student and a member of the school's men's basketball team. His body was found Wednesday morning.

Keeter's funeral is scheduled for Wednesday morning at the armory in Miller.
