Jason Aldean is on fire! 'Burnin' It Down,' his latest single, has gone Platinum ... in just 9 short weeks!

The song has dominated the No. 1 spot on Billboard Hot Country Singles since its release, which means clearly, Aldean is going full throttle as his sixth studio album 'Old Boots, New Dirt' approaches. It's out Oct. 7.

Always true to his faithful, star credits his fans with the immediate success of the track.

“We definitely got a few sideways looks and some raised eyebrows when we released this thing,” Aldean admits. “It's so awesome that my fans trust that I have a pretty good ear for the kinds of songs they will like, and that they follow me to new places with each album. I couldn't be happier with all the excitement around the new music … it definitely feels like we've got something pretty cool happening going into album release."

The Georgia native has given his fans several delicious tastes of his upcoming record with four early releases, including his rockin' love song 'Sweet Little Somethin,'' which could very well be about his future wife, Brittany Kerr.

Sparks are flying in Aldean's personal life and music career. He's the most-downloaded country male artist in history, and with his highly-anticipated album, he'll add more to that record. 'Old Boots, New Dirt' meanders into uncharted territory for the country-rocker, and after several years of controversy over his personal life, Aldean says this album will be a "clean slate."
